Information Vibing may collect

Depending on which features you use, Vibing may collect or process:

• Account details such as name, username, email address, profile photo, age eligibility signals, and authentication identifiers.
• Profile and preference information such as interests, categories, moods, visibility settings, and onboarding choices.
• Vibe activity such as posts, joins, signals, temporary room participation, invites, blocks, reports, and recap events.
• Approximate location or proximity signals when you allow location-based discovery. Vibing is designed to avoid exposing exact location to other users.
• Messages or room content you send inside temporary coordination spaces.
• Device, diagnostics, and usage information needed to keep the app secure, reliable, and working across devices.

How Vibing uses information

• Personalize nearby and online vibe discovery.
• Create, join, and manage time-scoped social opportunities.
• Operate signals, crossed-path features, rooms, invites, and daily recaps.
• Protect users through moderation, abuse prevention, account security, reporting, and safety workflows.
• Analyze app performance, fix bugs, and improve product reliability.
• Comply with legal, platform, and distribution requirements.

Location and proximity

Location-based features are optional and permission-based. Vibing may use device location to surface nearby vibes, calculate approximate radius, support crossed-path discovery, or show local social momentum. Other users should see abstracted proximity or radius-based context rather than your exact coordinates.

Sharing and disclosure

Vibing may share information with service providers that operate core infrastructure, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, moderation, notifications, maps, or support workflows. Vibing may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business transfer. Vibing does not sell personal information.

Your choices

• Change visibility, signal, notification, and discovery settings in the app.
• Control location permission through your device settings.
• Block or report users and vibes that violate safety expectations.
• Request account deletion using the in-app deletion flow or the public instructions at /vibing/account-deletion/.

Children and age eligibility

Vibing is intended for users who meet the minimum age requirements shown in the app and applicable law. The app should not be used by children where parental consent or additional legal compliance would be required and has not been provided.

Retention and deletion

Vibing keeps information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain safety, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce terms. Some deleted content may remain briefly in backups or logs. Safety, fraud, and legal records may be retained where necessary.
